1. What this is
Iris Media Publishing (“the tool”) is a private tool operated by Iris Media. It uploads videos made by Iris Media to Iris Media's own accounts: its YouTube channel, and drafts in its TikTok account's inbox. It is not offered to the public and there is no way to sign up for it.
2. Who may use it
Only Iris Media may use the tool, and only with Iris Media's own accounts. Connecting any other person's account is not permitted.
3. How publishing works
- Nothing is published automatically. Each upload happens only after the owner has reviewed the finished video and approved that specific upload.
- On TikTok, the tool only places a draft in the Iris Media account's inbox. The owner finishes and posts it in the TikTok app. The tool does not post to TikTok directly.
- On YouTube, the tool uploads the approved video with the visibility and settings the owner chose for it.
4. Platform rules
Every upload must follow the rules of the platform it goes to, including the YouTube Terms of Service, the TikTok Terms of Service and the TikTok Community Guidelines. Iris Media is responsible for the videos it publishes and for having the rights to their contents.
5. Data
What the tool accesses on each platform, and how that information is stored and removed, is described in the privacy policy.
6. No warranty
The tool is provided as is, for Iris Media's own use, without any warranty. Platform services may change or be unavailable at any time.
7. Stopping and changes
Access can be withdrawn at any time by revoking the tool's permission on YouTube or TikTok. These terms may be updated; the effective date above changes when they are.
